In the life of a filmmaker, you often have to keep up with several projects as well as personal events and hobbies (like a blog). All of these things often seem very hard to juggle. Around the fall of last year, I began to realize that I was having so many things to do that I would completely forget entire projects. So I started making small slips of paper that reminded me when what was due. Fast forward to today where I have an entire notebook of To-do lists that I scribble out things and add things almost hourly. Why is this so important to have. Well we all have those moments when we're at home and we think. What do I do now? Well having a notebook full of things you need and want to do helps you fill your life with more meaningful use of time. Also writing down even basic goals helps you move towards larger goals. I would also suggest that you write down your life goals and 5 year goals and try to aim your smaller daily goals towards them. "writing down even basic goals helps you move towards larger goals" What practices do you use to keep yourself on your goals?
