There are many differences in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Willy Wonka. In, Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka is much more confident and less energetic. In Charlie, Willy Wonka is much more rude to the kids saying things like "stop mummering" to Mike TV. Also in the Willy Wonka, he is more insecure and tries to make a big show to hide it such as when he greeted the kids at the door. The back-story and family story allows Wonka to be a dynamic character making him more interesting.
Vercua's Dad, Mr. Salt, is very different in the two movies. Mr.Salt in the old movie is a wuss, and is almost controled by Vercua, However in the Newer movie, he has spine sawing things like "all your getting today is a bath." He also doesn't make excuses to Vercua.
I liked the newer movie better because the quality of it was better. The actors were better. Also it was visually better. I liked the back story of Willy Wonka because it make him a more interesting character.
Peter Parker/Spiderman is the Protagonist. The Lizard and Uncle Ben's Killer are both Antagonist. In the movie, Uncle Ben's Killer kills Uncle Ben and Peter Parker feels responsible, so he becomes Spiderman to find the killer. However he doesn't and the Lizard throws people off the bridge because, he wants to kill the guy that wanted to get rid of him. Spiderman get their and after saving a kid, realizes that people need his help against the Lizard. Then he tried to get pictures of him and they fought, Spiderman lost. Lizard attacks school. Lizard flees from cops. Lizard tries to change everyone into Lizards using that cloud machine thing. Spiderman fights him and wins.
Peter Parker is a Static Character. Although many people disagree, Peter changes very little. One example is that he always tries to apply his justice to other people, such as trying to find his uncle's murder and the basketball thing with flash. He also always tried to help people even before he had powers such as when he tried to stop flash from bulling. He also had the same attitude such as his joking with holding the skateboard.
Also Characters like Gwene and Aunt May are also static because they change very little. Their characters changes very little through out the movie.
Gwene's Father is a very important dynamic character. He changes from thinking that Spiderman was a meance to thinking that the city needed him.
Flash was also a dynamic character because he changed from being a bully to trying to help out peter after his uncle died.
Dr. Connors in a way is a static character because up until the end, Dr.Connors would do anything to get his research to work even if it meant changing everything that made people human.
In this blog i will be writing about films and analyzing them as if they were book or literature. This will is a class I am taking. Ever since first found Windows Movie Maker in the start menu, I have been intrigued by films. I am interested in this class because one of my top career choices includes film-making and visual effects which involves movies. I hope to gain more understanding about films and how people have used them to portray feelings and ideas.
