Gumroad is an awesome place to sell digital items. They have fairly low prices and the awesome part is that you can sell any type of file; Mp3, .mov, even .band (garageband files). And many online VOD services charge quite a lot more than Gumroad's 5% + 25¢ per transaction. VHX for example is 10% +50¢, twice as much, now of course Vhx.tv has some slightly more video centered options, Gumroad is a great option if your looking to put something on your own website like this song I just made. This creates a very easy way to sell your movies as well as extras.

Here is the clip before and after that we are going to be focusing on;
So in this clip we got the sound of the actor placing the camera down back onto the table and then walking off. However for the story to work, you have to believe that he actually took the camera with him. So we had to open it in post. This effect can easily be done in any editor but we're using Final Cut Pro X to show you.
Here's what the clip should look like when you open it in the timeline and detach the audio.
Next you want to isolate the part where the undesired sound happens with the Blade Tool (B in FCPX, C in Premiere) and then Delete the section.
Next you want to duplicate (or copy and paste) the last segment of the audio (or a part where not much happens) If you recorded room tone (which is recommended) then this is a great time to use that instead.
Then you simply move the audio over and resize. BAM! No one will even notice. I now use this trick all of the time. On almost all of my short films.
